Hueston Woods offers nearly 3000 acres of outdoor recreation that is perfect for adventure seekers, wildlife enthusiasts, athletes, corporate outings, couples, and family getaways. Located in Southwest Ohio, the park has an an abundant amount of natural resources, including fossils, that attract people from far and wide. The park surrounds Acton Lake, which provides 625 acres of wildlife habitat, boating, swimming and fishing opportunities. Over forty miles of hiking and biking trails traverse the park and cross meadows, streams and moderate terrain. At the Nature Center, you'll get up close with wildlife such as hawks, owls, reptiles, a bobcat and a cougar. The Championship Golf Course at Hueston Woods is just another natural encounter, nestled in the quiet and peaceful woods of the park.
